Mandatory course Methods of Artistic Research taken in the first year

Students will be able to articulate and justify a specific research methodology that integrates their creative practice with academic inquiry; students will be capable of translating complex non-verbal creative processes into structured academic discourse, suitable for publication or presentation
Циљ
Methods of Artistic Research is a joint online course, developed as a result of a collaboration between the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and the Faculty of Music in Belgrade within the framework of the In.Tune Alliance. This course focuses on a diverse range of methodologies employed in artistic research, empowering students to develop innovative approaches to their creative work. The aim of the lectures is to inspire students, to implement creative thinking into their practice and work.
Садржај теоријске наставе
At the core of this course is the experience of different artistic practices through individual case-studies. Every lecture is given by a different professor with individual insights presented through examples of their own artistic practice. The lecturers come from multiple institutions of the In.Tune alliance: Faculty of Music Belgrade, Royal Conservatoire The Hague, mdw Vienna, ESMUC Barcelona, Norwegian Academy of Music Oslo. The lectures are interactive, encouraging active student participation and discussion
