Zorka Milivojević, MMus

Independent collaborative pianist at the Vocal Studies Department

Zorka Milivojević began her piano studies at the Music School “Mokranjac” in the class of prof. Bojana Đajić. She won many awards at competitions and performed at representative concerts of best students of her generation. She also made many recordings for Radio Belgrade.

She completed the piano studies with the highest grade in the class of Prof. Valdma and Lidija Stanković. During her studies, she attended classes of Professor Pavlina Dokovska at Mannes University in New York.

She obtained her master’s degree in 2001 as the student of prof. Srdjan Grbić. After completing specialist studies at the Department of Chamber Music, she enrolled in PhD studies at the same Department.
Alongside the soloist concerts, she had been teaching in music schools “Vučković”, “Slavenski” and “Mokranjac” since 1996
Students of Zorka Milivojević have achieved outstanding results in competitions and have performed in numerous concerts.
As a chamber musician, Zorka Milivojević held in the season 2002/03 a series of concerts with violinist William Ferdinandi performing the prominent works written for violin and piano.

Since 2006 she has been working as an artistic associate, then as a senior artistic associate at the Faculty of Music, at the Department of singing where she collaborates with professors Nikola Mijailović and Katarina Jovanović. In August 2012, she collaborated with Professor Katarina Jovanović in the master class in Aleksandrovac in the festival “KozArt”.
