Marko Bogdanović
Marko Bogdanović (1982) graduated from the Piano Department of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2009, and during his studies he studied with Prof. Aleksandar Šandorov and Prof. Aleksandra Pavlović. He is currently a final year doctoral student at Chamber Music Department under the mentorship of Prof. Ljudmila Popović.
As an official artistic collaborator, he participated in the realization of the international competitions “Davorin Jenko” in Belgrade (2009-2019), “Petar Konjović” in Belgrade (2009), “Premio Clivis” in Rome (2014-2017), “Gianluca Campochiaro” in Catania, Sicily (2016-2020), “Miodrag Azanjac” in Belgrade (2019-2024), the “Oboe Fest” (2018-2025) in Belgrade, as well as several masterclasses, the most significant of which are the saxophone masterclasses within the project “Musical Summer at Podsreda Castle”, Slovenia (2014-2019). Within the framework of festivals, masterclasses and opera productions, he collaborated with conductors and instrumentalists: Johannes Harneit, Stefan Schreiber, Srboljub Dinić, Lev Pupis, Betka Bozjak Kotnik, Oskar Laznik, Matej Zupan, Jérôme Guichard, David Walter, Francesco di Rosa, Lajos Lencsés, Gabor Dienes, Jean-Louis Capezzali, Christoph Hartmann, Simone Sommerhalder, Fabien Thouand and others. During the 2014-2015 season, he was engaged as a part-time artistic collaborator at the Opera of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
He has been a member of the Musical Opera Theatre Organization – MOTO since 2019, with which he participated in the realization of the productions of the operas “At Dawn” by S. Binički, “Children’s Room” by M. Živković, “Let’s Make an Opera / The Little Sweep” by B. Britten, as well as all ongoing projects within the organization. He is very active as a chamber musician, performing in various instrumental and vocal-instrumental ensembles. In addition to practicing traditional artistic music, he is interested in contemporary domestic artistic music, electroacoustic music, musical theater, performance and music production.
