Ivana Stoković, MMus

Independent collaborative pianist at the Vocal Studies Department

MMus Ivana Stoković graduated in piano (1992) with the highest grade at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in Belgrade in the class of prof. Arbo Valdma.

During her studies, she was a demonstrator in the subjects Chamber Music and Opera Studio in the classes of prof. A. Ivanović and S. Turlakova. At the same faculty, she received her master’s degree of ARTS in piano in the class of prof. Z. Dimitrijević, and then specialized in two-year studies in chamber music in the class of prof. O. Đurđević.

From 1993 to the present, she has been working as a piano associate at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in Belgrade at the Department of Solo Singing, where, among other things, it is important to mention her long-term piano collaboration with prof. A. Ivanović. In the period from 2001 to 2004, she was the recipient of four AESI scholarships awarded by the Spanish Ministry for specialist training in piano and chamber music at the Real Conservatorio Superior in Madrid, as well as a scholarship from the Isaac Albéniz Foundation (Madrid) for digital processing of audiovisual recordings of musical events. She is the recipient of the award from the ”Radmila Đorđević” Fund for the best pianist working with singers, the award for piano collaborator at the ”Nikola Cvejić” competition, and the Ribbon of honor for artistic contribution awarded by the Zurbaran Conservatory in Madrid.

As a soloist, chamber musician and piano collaborator, she has participated in concerts in the country and abroad: BEMUS Festival, International Jeunesse Musicale Competition, Emil Hayek Memorial, Lemek, Epta, L.Jovanović, N.Cvejić Competition, International Student Theater Festival Kestenburg, BELEF, Mokranj Days in Negotin, National Theater in Belgrade-Big Stage, National Theater-Stage ”Raša Plaović”, Belgrade Days, Vršac Days, Road to Belcanto. Solo concerts organized by the Ministry of Spain in Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Sad. Concerts in Toledo, Madrid, Albarracin, Tres Cantos, Lleida – Sala d’ Actes (Rectorate), Casa de Galicia – Madrid, Real Conservatorio-Madrid, Barcelona – Poetry Evenings.

In the period from 2009 to 2023, he has been an indispensable pianist. collaborator at all manifestations of the Opera Studio course, of which the premiere performances of the operas stand out: L’ elisir d’amore, At Dawn, Die Fledermaus, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Hansel and Gretel, Cosi fan tutte (That’s How They Do It). From 2024 to the present day, he has been working as an independent artistic associate at the Department for the main subject – Solo Singing in the class of prof. Nikola Kitanovski.
