Tijana Ilišević, PhD
She earned her PhD in 2023 at the Department of Music Theory. She is currently an assistant professor at the same department. Her area of theoretical and analytical interest is focused on 20th- and 21st-century music. She regularly participates in international conferences, both in Serbia and abroad, such as: the International Conference on Music Theory and Analysis organized by the Department of Music Theory at the Faculty of Music, the International Conference of the Society for Music Analysis (SMA), based in the UK (SotonMAC2019, Southampton, England, 2019), and the International Conference of the Italian Society for Music Theory and Analysis (GATM – Società Italiana di Analisi e Teoria Musicale, Salerno, Italy, 2022).
Between 2006 and 2016, she was an active member and soloist of the women’s academic choir Collegium Musicum, with which she performed on prestigious stages worldwide (Stiftung Mozarteum in Salzburg, Carnegie Hall in New York, Dôme des Invalides and the Sénat – Palais du Luxembourg in Paris).
