Sandra Belić, MMus

Professor in the artistic field of Violoncello

Sandra Belic graduated under André Navarra “cum laude” of University in Vienna. She also studied with Daniel Shafran, Sigfried Palm, Boris Pergamenchikov. She is deeply grateful for an artistic inducement to Natalya Gutman.

Belic toured throughout Europe, China, Israel and Japan. As a soloist she performed with orchestras such as “Liszt Ferenc” Budapest, Radio Brussels, “Musica Viva” Moscow and all ex-Yugoslav and Serbian orchestras.

Belic was first to perform concertos by André Jolivet, Sir John Tavener and Nimrod Borenstein in Yugoslavia and Serbia.

She performed at the festivals in Europe, including Great Britain, Russia and famous “Prague Spring” and in Japan and held master classes in Ukraine (Kiev Conservatory ”Tchaikovsky),” Spain (Burgos), Israel (Rubin Academy), Japan (Kobe, Toyama, Kitakyushu) and Italy (Milano Conservatorio, Narni, Cremona ESTA 2019). At the Rovigno festival 2020, in a duo with pianist Ljiljana Vukelja she was awarded a prize for the best concert. Her CD featuring sonatas by Beethoven and Schubert was released n Japan in 2010.

Sandra Belic is full time professor at the University of Music in Belgrade. Her live recording of Handel’s Sonata for two cellos with her former student N. Stanković was highly recommended by the American radio station “Performance Today”.
