Milena Stanojević
Milena Stanojević is a music theorist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the Department of General Music Pedagogy and her Master’s degree from the Department of Music Theory at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade, where she is currently pursuing her doctoral studies. As a doctoral candidate, she was employed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac, teaching courses in music analysis, harmony, and stylistic analysis. She is currently employed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the course Analysis of Musical Forms.
Her main areas of academic and research interest include the analysis of musical temporality and the realization of mythic time in music, with a particular focus on the works of contemporary Serbian composers. She has presented and published her research at several academic conferences and in the proceedings Serbian Language, Literature and Arts over multiple consecutive years.
