Marko Nikodijević, guest professor
Marko Nikodijević was born in Subotica in 1980, where he finished music school. From 1995 he started having composition classes with Srdjan Hofman, which he continued from 1997 upon enrollment to studies of composition at the University of Arts in Belgrade, first in Prof. Hofman’s class, and later with Zoran Erić (2002–2003).
In 2003 he moved to Stuttgart for postgraduate studies with Marco Stroppa in State University of Music and the Performing Arts (2003–2005), where he also finished studies in music theory (2008–2009).
He took part in master program of the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) in 2010–2011.
Marko Nikodijević is a laureate of many international awards and acknowledgements for his works, as well as a number of prestigious grant programmes.
His music is performed by renown ensembles and performers in festivals and concert programmes all over the the world.
Along with composing, he is engaged in electronic music production and performs in a duo with Luka Kozlovački.
