Dušan Egerić, MMus

Higher collaborative pianist at the String Instruments Department

Dušan Egerić graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade, and in 2009 completed his postgraduate studies there with the highest distinction. His primary teacher was professor Dejan Stošić. Additionally, he has collaborated with many famous pianists among whom are Sergei Dorensky, Alexander Shtarkman and Andrey Pisarev. During his studies, he was selected for two important awards: the Emil Hajek Award (as the most talented young pianist) and another from the Olga Mihailović Fund (as the most perspective young pianist).
Dušan Egerić has won top prizes at a number of international piano competitions such as Stresa/Italy, Rubinstein/Paris, and Rachmaninoff/Novgorod. As a recitalist and soloist with orchestras, Dušan Egerić has performed in major concert halls in Serbia, Russia, Austria, Sweden, Slovenia, Germany, Italy and France.
Since September 2012, he was appointed artistic associate (Strings Department) at Faculty of Music in Belgrade.
