Dragana Todorović, PhD (1968), graduated from the Department of General music pedagogy at the Faculty of music in Belgrade (1991), received a master’s degree (field of Solfeggio teaching methodology, 1995) and a doctorate (field of Music pedagogy, 2022).

Dragana Todorović’s professional engagement, apart from the position of associate professor of Music pedagogy (area of solfeggio and solfeggio teaching methodology at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade), includes a broad aspect of activities: author of instructional and methodical literature for solfeggio; author of numerous scientific works in the field of Music pedagogy, primarily the methodology of teaching solfeggio and the history of music pedagogy; lecturer at scientific conferences; coordinator and organizer of accredited solfege seminars and music workshops; long-time member of the jury and author of examples at numerous music competitions – Republic Solfeggio Competition, International Solfeggio Competition, Young Solfeggio Competition, Musical Skills Tournament; reviewer of instructional and methodical literature in the field of Solfeggio, Methodology of teaching solfeggio and Musical culture.

Dragana Todorović’s activities include membership in professional bodies: the Association of  Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia and the Commission for Solfeggio at the Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia. Dragana Todorović is also the secretary of the Department of Solfeggio and Music Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, and in 2010 she was a member of the working group for the preparation of curriculum proposals for secondary music schools at the Institute for the Improvement of Education and Training in Belgrade. Since 2016, she has been employed as a licensed manuscript examiner and evaluator at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.

Dragana Todorović is also a recipient of recognition for her pedagogical work: Diploma for one-year outstanding pedagogical results (Union of Associations of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia, 2002), Certificate of Appreciation from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade for outstanding services and contribution to the faculty (Faculty of Music in Belgrade, 2010), Certificate of Appreciation from the Association of Music and ballet pedagogues of Serbia on the occasion of 60 years of their work for contribution to the work of the Association (Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia, 2014), Certificate of Appreciation from the Basic Music School “Nevena Popović” for participation in the organization and implementation of the expert meeting-tribune One hundred years since the birth of Borivoje Popović (1918 -2018) and others.
