Bojana Zagorac, MMus
Bojana Zagorac, born in Belgrade, graduated and obtained master’s degree in piano from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Professor Srđan Grbić. She further perfected in France at European Conservatory of Music in Paris, in the class of Professor Igor Lasko. She attended master classes of Arbo Valdme in Sarajevo, Constantin Bogino in Belgrade and Susan Rosh in Paris. Bojana Zagorac won several republic and federal awards at music competitions, as well as two awards for the best interpretation from Katarina Aćimović Foundation in 1982 and 1984. She performed as a soloist, chamber and piano accompanist in the region and abroad. She performed with distinguished musicians – violinist Stefan Milenković in Bregenz (Austria), flute player Miomir Simonović at Sombor Music Evenings, concerts at Belgrade City Hall, concert cycle Sounds of Senjak, and other occasions, with percussionist Srđan Palačković playing music for percussion instruments and piano at Student Cultural Centre (Belgrade), trumpet player Mladen Đorđević at National Concert Season, in the House of Youth in Podgorica (Montenegro
Bojana Zagorac performed as a piano accompanist at several international competitions – at the International competition of flute players in 1997 in Rome, the International competition for violinists “N. Paganini” in 1996 in Geneva, the International competition of flute players in 1996 Tonbridge, England. She won an International Recognition Award at the International competition at Tortona (Italy) in 1995.
She performed with all attending students of the Master Class of Flute held by Professor Ljubiša Jovanović at the Hall of Zrenjanin Art Gallery in 2000.
Music School “Kosta Manojlović” awarded Bojana Zagorac in 1989 and 1996 in recognition for her superior achievements with students.
She is an official piano accompanist at the Harp Festival and International Competition of Harpists in Belgrade. On occasion of 50th Anniversary of UN in 1996 she held a concert with flute player Marija Raičković at the UN Concert Hall in New York (USA).
Bojana Zagorac is a collaborative pianist at the Poly-instrumental department of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. She received Acknowledgements of Faculty of Music in 1997, 2008, 2012, and 2014.
