Call for Papers for 16th Biennial International Conference “Music Theory and Analysis”
We are pleased to invite all colleagues, scholars, researchers, musicians, doctoral students to participate in the 16th Biennial International Conference, “Music Theory and Analysis,” organized by the Department of Music Theory. The conference will be held October 2–4, 2026, in a hybrid format. The theme of this year’s conference is The Polyphony of Music Theory: Methodological Pluralism in Scholarship. We are especially honored to welcome the following leading international scholars in music theory as plenary speakers: Dr. Thomas Christensen (USA), Dr. Sarah Marlowe (USA), and Dr. Peter Schubert (Canada).
The submission deadline is April 15, 2026.
