Students of the Faculty of Music at the International Summer School in Barcelona (Spain)

This summer, from June 29 to July 13, the Barcelona Arts Summer School (BASS 2025) was held in Barcelona – an international interdisciplinary summer school that brought together young artists from the fields of film, music, performing, and visual arts. Through collaborative project work, participants explored ways of connecting different artistic disciplines, developing new forms of contemporary artistic expression.

The program took place at several significant cultural and historical locations in Barcelona, such as Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació, Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHUB), Barcelona XRLAB, Castell de Montjuïc, La Model, and Torre de les Aigües del Besòs, whose unique atmospheres served as inspiring settings for the artists’ work.

The program was jointly organized by three leading higher education art institutions in Barcelona:

  • ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) – the Higher School of Film and Audiovisual Arts,
  • ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) – the Higher School of Music of Catalonia,
  • Institut del Teatre – a public institution dedicated to education in the performing arts.

As part of this prestigious international program, students from the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade, took part and represented our institution with distinction through their work, performance skills, and scholarly research, leaving a significant artistic and academic mark.
