Faculty of Music

Studio

The Studio of the Faculty of Music was established in the 1980s and, from its very beginnings, has been under the supervision of the Department of Composition. The studio’s control room is equipped with high-quality analog equipment, computer systems for recording and processing musical materials, as well as software for composing and producing contemporary music. The acoustics of the Studio were designed according to precise engineering calculations, combining absorbers and diffusers. The Studio is visually and acoustically connected to the recording space (the FоМ Grand Hall), enabling the realization of a wide range of recordings, from solo performances to larger chamber ensembles. The FоМ Studio is equipped with a modern LoLa (Low Latency AV Streaming System) system.
