Participation of Master’s Students in the Second In.Tune Alliance AIRE2 Conference in Oslo 2026
The joint work of Master’s students in the Applied Music Research programme, Ana Blagojević and Eva Marković, has been accepted for presentation at the second In.Tune Alliance AIRE2 Conference, which will be held on April 8–9 in Oslo.
The paper, entitled When Supervision Opens the Mind: Reflections from a Master’s Programme in Applied Music Research, is based on an analysis of experiences gained during the PRIMA Master’s programme and explores the role of supervision as an open and creative dialogue between students and mentors. Particular focus is placed on how such a supportive process contributes to the development of artistic research, critical thinking, and independent authorship.
The paper also examines the importance of active engagement by both students and professors, an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, as well as the role of collective work, exchange of ideas, and project development within a contemporary social and professional context.
The evaluators’ comments were highly positive, noting that the submission was ranked very highly in the selection process.
